Privacy policy

Last updated: July 2026

This is a translation for convenience. In case of doubt the German version is the binding one.

1. Controller

The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

KIantrieb Jerzy Dąbrowski Unnaer Str. 31 04720 Döbeln, Germany

Email: info@kiantrieb.de

2. Principle

This website is deliberately kept simple. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, embeds no third-party fonts, maps, videos or scripts, and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking services. There is no contact form and there are no user accounts.

When you visit this website we process personal data only to the extent technically necessary to deliver the pages.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. Vercel processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

When the website is accessed, the host automatically collects access data: the IP address of the requesting device, the date and time of the request, the address requested, the referrer, and information about the browser and operating system. This data is technically required to deliver the page, keep the service running and detect attacks. It is not merged with other data and is not used to build user profiles.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website. Access data is stored briefly and then deleted.

Transfer to the United States cannot be excluded. It is safeguarded by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses together with supplementary measures taken by the provider.

4. Contact by email or telephone

If you write to us or call, we process the details you provide — such as your name, email address, telephone number and the content of your message — solely in order to deal with your enquiry.

The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a contract, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

We delete this data once it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligations apply. Business correspondence is subject to commercial and tax retention periods of six and ten years respectively.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We do not pass personal data on to third parties, except to the host named above acting as a processor, in order to comply with legal obligations, or where you have consented. Data is never sold.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Any consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

A message to info@kiantrieb.de is enough to exercise these rights.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority is the Saxon Data Protection Commissioner, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany.

7. Data security

The website is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS. Beyond that we take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access, and adapt those measures to the current state of the art.

8. Changes to this policy

We update this privacy policy when the legal situation or the operation of the website changes. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
